These terms

These terms apply to services provided by Social Points Media. Specific work is also governed by the written scope or proposal we agree with you, which takes precedence if the two ever disagree.

Monthly packages

Monthly packages are billed in advance each month and continue until cancelled. They include the work listed on our pricing page for the package you are on. Work outside that list is quoted separately before it is carried out.

Cancelling

You may cancel a monthly package with 30 days notice. We do not charge an exit fee.

Website packages carry no setup fee because the cost of building the site is spread across the first 12 months. If you cancel a website package within those first 12 months, the balance of that 12-month period becomes payable, and we release your website files and database once it is settled. After 12 months nothing is owed and the files are yours on request. Your domain name is yours throughout either way, and we will help point it wherever you are moving it. This applies to website packages started on or after 1 October 2026; packages started before that date are unaffected.

Local SEO plans and Website Care plans involve no build cost, so neither carries a settlement. You may stop them at the end of any month.

What you own

Your domain name is registered in your name. Once the build is paid for, either by completing 12 months on a package or by settling the balance as above, the website we build for you, its content and its design are yours. Third-party components keep their own licences, and we keep the right to reuse our general techniques and non-client-specific code.

What you provide

You are responsible for the accuracy of content you give us, and for holding the rights to any images, text or logos you supply. Projects depend on timely feedback; long delays in approvals may move agreed timelines.

Results

We do not guarantee specific search rankings, traffic volumes or sales, because no one can control how search engines and advertising platforms rank or price. We commit to the work, the reasoning behind it, and honest reporting on what it produced.

Availability

We aim to keep hosted sites available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for losses arising from downtime, third-party service failures, or events outside our reasonable control.

Payment

Invoices are due on the terms stated on them. We may pause work or suspend services on significantly overdue accounts, after telling you first.
